Register as a (playing) member

This is done quickly and easily online at GHBS by clicking HERE. Choose to register as a “member”. In the pop-up you can fill in your details which will then be immediately included in the administration. To confirm your registration you will receive an email with the registration form as an attachment. After this you will be put on the waiting list.

Depending on your age and hockey experience, the junior, senior or youngest youth committee will contact you within a week. This committee will then place you in a team that matches your hockey experience. If you do not receive a response within a week, please send an email to ledenadministratie@ghbs.nl.

Waiting list

• After you have been placed on the waiting list, the Senior Team Committee, Junior Team Committee or the Youngest Youth Committee will contact you as soon as possible, depending on your age.
• The relevant committee will determine with you which level suits you best and will indicate whether and, if so, when you can be placed in a team.
• If placement in a team is not possible in the short term, the relevant committee will indicate when placement is expected to be possible and will discuss with you whether you wish to remain on the waiting list.

Trial training

• After placement in a team you can follow 3 trial training sessions without obligation. During this period you are not eligible to play for the KNHB!
• You must follow the free trial training sessions within 30 days after placement in a team! If this is not possible for whatever reason, please report this as soon as possible, but within the 30 days mentioned, to the relevant committee and the membership administration.
• 30 days after being placed in a team, your trial membership will automatically be converted into a full GHBS membership, which will entitle you to play in matches.
• If you want to play matches earlier, you can confirm your membership by sending an email to ledenadministratie@ghbs.nl.
• If you do not want to become a member of GHBS, you should send an email to ledenadministratie@ghbs.nl. You will then receive a confirmation of your cancellation and will not pay any membership fee.

Full member

• As a full member of GHBS you are eligible to play for the KNHB and you are allowed to play matches for your team.
• As a member of GHBS you have the right to vote during the General Meeting (GMM).
• As a member of GHBS you pay a contribution (consult this link for more information)
• As a member of GHBS you also have duties (bar service, referee, etc.) to ensure the proper functioning of the association.

Register as a volunteer

• This is done quickly and easily online at GHBS by clicking HERE. Choose to register as a “volunteer”. Only a limited number of details need to be entered.
• You will receive a confirmation email of your registration as a volunteer.
