PRIVACY STATEMENT GRONINGEN MIXED HOCKEY CLUB GHBS

This is the privacy statement of the Groningen Mixed Hockey Club GHBS (hereinafter GHBS), established in Groningen and registered in the trade register of the Chamber of Commerce under number 40023696.

At GHBS we attach great importance to protecting the personal data of our (parents of) members, volunteers, employees, sponsors and other stakeholders. This privacy statement describes which personal data we process, for which purposes this personal data is used and which measures we have taken to ensure that the processing takes place lawfully, properly and transparently in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation.

1. USE OF PERSONAL DATA

• Visit our website www.ghbs.nl;
• Become a member, volunteer or employee of GHBS by completing the registration form;
• Registers for an event organized by us;
• Make an online purchase through a (temporary) webshop set up by us;
• Contact us by email.

1.2 We may collect the following data:

• Gender;
• Date of birth;

• Phone number;
• Email address;
• Bank account number;
• Hockey related information;
• Volunteer information;
• Player and coach history;
• Visitor data.

1.3 We use this information for:

• The implementation of the membership and the associated communication via e-mail, telephone or post;
• Collecting contributions;
• Scheduling whistle, field and bar duties;
• Communication between volunteers and team at team level;
• Communication between managers of different hockey clubs for the purpose of organizational matters regarding (practice) matches;
• Sending our newsletter, club magazine, congratulations, invitations and thank you cards;
• Requesting a Certificate of Good Conduct for our volunteers and employees;
• The handling of disciplinary matters;
• Reports and analyses to gain insight into the development of GHBS;
• To a limited extent, draw attention to promotions, offers and events of our sponsors.

• Questions regarding this privacy statement;
• Access to the personal data that we process relating to you;
• Correction, restriction, deletion or transfer of your data;
• Objection to the use of your data by GHBS.

3. SECURITY OF YOUR DATA

3.1 We will use your data exclusively for the purposes stated in this privacy statement and we will take adequate technical and organizational measures to protect your data. All persons who can access your data on behalf of GHBS are bound to confidentiality thereof. In addition, a username and password policy is used. Data is anonymized if there is reason to do so.

4. THIRD PARTIES

4.1 We provide your data to the following third parties. This only concerns the data that the parties below need to effectuate the membership and to enable participation in the competition.

4.2 We may publish photos of visitors and/or participants in activities at our accommodation on our website and our social media, unless you expressly object to this (see under 2).

5. STORING YOUR DATA

5.1 We do not retain your data for longer than necessary in view of the purpose of the processing or other legislation that requires retention.
