Playing hockey at GHBS is possible in different teams. This way, students, employees, beginners, advanced players and parents can all enjoy playing hockey. At GHBS it is possible to play hockey at different levels, both in a first team, recreational team or beginners team.

• GHBS currently (2023) has 11 men's teams and 36 women's teams. Furthermore, there are 2 men's teams and 2 women's teams that compete in the 30 competition.
• Ladies 1 and Men 1 play in the First Division. D2, D3 and H2 are also selection teams and play in the Reserve Premier Division. The other teams are represented in almost all classes.
• GHBS also participates in the new competition format; Hockey7, where 7x7 matches are played every 2 weeks on Friday evenings.
• If you have little or no hockey experience, you can start in a beginners team.

The field hockey season runs from early September to late May. During the winter break, from December to February, the indoor hockey competition is played. You can register separately for indoor hockey (Interested? Mail to zaalcommissie@ghbs.nl ). Playing times depend entirely on available indoor space for the KNHB Noord-Oost.
