Reason for replacing clubhouse

The clubhouse of MHC GHBS at the Sportpark Corpus den Hoorn dates from 1973 and was built as a semi-permanent building when MHC GHBS was still an association with 300 members. Over the years, MHC GHBS has grown into an association with approximately 1,800 members. The building is too small and has also become worn out.

In recent years we have been busy planning a clubhouse, a clubhouse that matches the sporting achievements and ambitions of our dynamic association.

In November 2022, the campaign for the bond loan took place. We raised almost 250,000 euros together. It is special to see that support has been shown from the entire club (and beyond) for the construction of the new clubhouse.

After the General Members Meeting of June 30, 2023, it is final; the members have spoken and after 50 years GHBS will finally get a new (4th) clubhouse! If everything goes according to plan, we hope to festively open the new clubhouse during the 19th lustrum! Keep a close eye on the website, socials and mail (members) for the latest updates.
